The flowers of Pterospermum suberifolium are axillary or terminal. The pedicel is 8-9 mm long and tomentose.
The calyx is composed of 5 oblong and reflexed sepals. The sepals are fleshy, 2 cm long and 3-4 mm wide. They are stellate-tomentose outside and silky hairy inside.
The corolla is composed of 5 white-coloured and glabrous petals. The petals are oblong, 2 cm long and 6-7 mm wide.
The androecium is composed of 15 stamens. The filaments are 4-5 mm long and connate into a 3 mm long tube with linear anthers borne on the free tips of the filaments.
The pistil is composed of a 1.5 cm long style and a fusiform stigma. The ovary is 5-celled.
The buds are covered with short stellate hairs.
The flowers are fragrant.
