  • Planting advice and requirements :
    Ficus amplissima is a light demander and drought resistant. It will grow in a wide variety of situations and soils but all soils need to be free draining.
    The species is propagated by seeds or by cuttings.
  • Seed treatments :
    No pre-treatment is required (germination can take several month).
    Ficus seeds need heat and light to germinate, so they need to be sown on the top of the soil with nothing covering them.
