The leaves of Morinda coreia grow opposite on the stem.
The leaf is simple, bright green-coloured above and paler beneath. The leaf is coriaceous, glossy and glabrous on both sides.
The leaves have a 1-2 cm long petiole.
The leaf of Morinda coreia is 15-22 cm long and 4.5-5 cm wide. The shape of the blade is oblanceolate, the apex is acuminate, the base is attenuate and the margins are entire.
The venation of the leaf is reticulate with a prominent midrib.
